When John Hucklebridge Huett emigrated from England to Tasmania in the early 1850's, who would have thought that only 102 years after his death, his descendants would number in the thousands.

It is believed that John Hucklebridge Huett fathered 17 children, 6 to his first wife Agnes Skinner, and 11 children to his second wife, Sarah Ann Atwell. His children were: Agnes Huett 1852, Sarah Agnes Huett 1854, William John Huett 1856, Baby Huett 1858, Mary Ann Huett 1859, William John Huett 1860, Hannah Maria Atwell Huett 1863, Eleanor Patience Huett 1865, Albert Robert Huett 1867, John Atwell Hucklebridge Huett 1869, Jesse John Atwell Huett 1872, Alice Jane Huett 1874, Arthur George Huett 1876, Francis James Huett 1877, James Charles Huett 1879, George Orlando Huett 1882, and David Joseph Huett 1884.

It is the descendants of this family that fill the pages of this website.
